Vacancies exist for machinists, fitters and welders at our 6 UK Branches located in Avonmouth, Bacup, Daventry, Scarborough, Southampton and York. We are currently looking for apprentice trained engineers with preferably 5 years post apprenticeship experience in their chosen field to join our ever expanding work force. Machinists
Manual machinists to work on centre lathes, milling machines, vertical and horizontal boring machines of various sizes up to table and bed capacities in excess of 10 tonnes.
Applicants should be conversant with metric and imperial measuring equipment and be capable of working from engineering drawings and reverse engineering techniques.
Mechanical Fitters.
Experience preferably in the maintenance industry covering, fault finding, overhaul, maintenance and repairs to pumps, gear boxes, fans and process machinery either working at our workshops or ‘on site’ at our customers premises. Applicants should be conversant with metric and imperial measuring equipment and be capable of producing reports.
Welders
Qualified to ASME 9 or equivalent covering at least two of the following welding processes MMA, MIG, TIG, Submerged Arc, Hot Wire Tig or Spiral Welding. Experience in fabricating, overlaying techniques and repairing broken/cracked components in a variety of different materials would be advantageous.
